What is Zoook?

Zoook is a web shop canal developed by Zikzak Media.

It is based on Django and is to 100% compatible with OpenERP without any connectors. The orders, the stock, postage and prices (to list just a few features) come straight from OpenERP.

In this series of articles we are going into the details of how to install Zoook on Ubuntu 11.00.

The aim of these articles is to document the steps to implement a Zoook in a development as well as in an actual production environment and to give the user the solutions to possible problems that can come up during the installation and configuration process.

When running Chronoforms v.3.2 on a Joomla 1.5 site with Mootools Upgrade Plugin installed and enabled you can get Javascript errors like:

 XXXXX.getInputByName2 is not a function

It's caused by a method defined in Chronoforms javascript validation. The Mootools Upgrade Plugin replaces the Mootools version 1.12 with Mootools 1.2.5 and that causes that the method getInputByName2 defined in Chronoforms stops working.

There are two methods to solve the problem:

En sistemas basados en Proxmox hay ocasiones en las que se necesita que un disco físico conectado al anfitrión esté disponible para una de las máquinas virtuales creadas en el mismo. El procedimiento es bastante simple. Una vez creada la máquina virtual ( que en este ejemplo tendrá el id 102 ) se edita el archivo que guarda la configuración de la misma.

Hemos apreciado el error en varias ocasiones (sobre todo al clonar máquinas virtuales basadas en Ubuntu <-> OpenERP Appliance). El error consiste en que al arrancar la appliance aparece un mensaje de error que dice algo parecido a:

eth2 Error o eth1 Error

En este caso particular el error afectaba al adaptador reconocido por el sistema como eth2.
